At Mattias Nilsson AB you will meet the partner MAttias Nilsson and junior trainee Josefin Gelevska.
Mattias Nilsson is a lawyer, specialized within dispute resolution with extensive experience of a wide range of court proceedings, arbitrations and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. The majority of his experience concerns construction projects, but Mattias also has substantial expertise acting as counsel in other areas of civil and contract law – including tort and damages, insurance law, real estate law and multiple types of purchase agreement.
Mattias manages disputes with personal commitment and and close client involvement, with a deep understanding of both the details and the broader perspective. He has over 20 years of experience of the standard terms and contractual structures within Swedish construction law, of the construction industry and the construction process – as well as of negotiations and dispute strategy. In addition to that, he has a strong technical understanding and a pedagogical ability that has been particularly valued in technically complex disputes.
Another part of Mattias’ practice is courses education, where he regularly delivers seminars and lectures in construction law. He also develop customized courses based on the specific needs of individual clients.
With his experience and expertise, particularly in construction law, Mattias in also an excellent choice as an arbitrator, as a “wise person” in simplified dispute resolution, as a member or chair of an appellate inspection board, or as a legally focused inspection expert, as well as acting as a mediator.
Mattias is based in Stockholm but undertakes cases throughout Sweden. He acts for both Swedish and international clients.
Josefine Gelevska studies the final parts at law school and works part time at the law firm with ongoing disputes and other assignments.
